Katie has been with the practice since 1998 and has sincere enthusiasm for quality dentistry. Katie has eagerly attended multiple continuing education courses, including the Advance Anterior Aesthetics Continuum, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and American Association of Dental Office Managers. As the practice administrator, Katie understands that patient care and satisfaction play a crucial part in the vitality of our practice. She is always there to greet you with a warm smile and a calm demeanor to make you feel at ease when you arrive for your dental appointment. Katie has a passion for gluten free baking and a slight obsession with raising chickens that lay different colored eggs. She has 2 adult daughters in college and has been married to her husband, Sims since 1998.
Debbie is the veteran employee of the office, having been Dr. Johnson's hygienist now for over 30 years. Debbie is the sweetest person you will ever meet, and this is evident in the caring and gentle way she treats everyone she sees. Debbie spends much of her time researching the latest hygiene products that will help you as an individual achieve the home care program best for you. She received her RDH license from Foothill College in Los Altos. Debbie is also licensed to administer anesthetic as well as being certified in category II laser treatment. When Debbie is not at work, she keeps very busy. Spending her time working out, cooking, grooming their walnut orchard and being a Grammy to her three grandchildren.
Tianna or Ty is part of our amazing front office trio and has been a valued member of Dr. Johnson’s team since 2008. A Corning native, she began her dental career after completing her education through the Butte County Regional Occupational Program and spent many years as a skilled and compassionate chairside assistant. Ty now brings that same warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail to her front office role, helping patients navigate their care with ease and confidence. Outside of the office, Ty enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found on the sidelines of basketball courts or soccer fields, cheering on her daughters with her husband.
Jen joined the team in 2016. She graduated from Shasta College Dental Hygiene program in 2008. Prior to becoming a hygienist, Jen worked as an assistant and has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She also holds a B.S. degree in biological science from CSU, Chico. Jen truly cares for every patient and and seeks to provide the best treatment possible for a healthy mouth and beautiful smile. When not in the office, Jen loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys the outdoors, nature and being on the golf course whenever she can!
Beth joined Dr. Johnson’s team in 2017. A graduate of the Shasta College Dental Hygiene program in Redding, California, Beth has a genuine desire to know her patients and understand their needs and priorities in regards to oral health. Her welcoming smile and personality help patients to feel comfortable and at ease with their treatment. A Chico native, Beth feels blessed to have had the opportunity to grow up in such a wonderful community. Beth met her husband while they were attending Chico State and they have been married for over 20 years. They have been blessed with two boys, Josh and Jake. Beth loves spending time outdoors with her family exploring Bidwell Park, taking hikes, and enjoying bike rides together.
Blake is our Hygiene Coordinator and a key part of our dynamic front office trio. She joined Dr. Johnson’s team in 2024, bringing with her over a decade of experience in the veterinary field. Her strengths in communication, organization, and empathy seamlessly transitioned into the dental world, where she now helps ensure our hygiene and treatment schedules run smoothly. Blake also assists with day-to-day front office operations, always working to create a welcoming and efficient experience for every patient. Blake moved to Chico in 2014 to play volleyball for Butte College and has called it home ever since. She recently got married and loves spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband.
Emily joined Dr. Johnson’s team in 2024 and brings six years of experience as a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant. With a true passion for patient care, Emily strives to make every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Her attention to detail and clinical skill play a key role in supporting seamless dental procedures and positive outcomes. Outside the office, Emily enjoys tending to her garden, working on embroidery projects, and spending quality time with her husband and kids. Her nurturing nature, calm presence, and hands-on expertise make her a valued and trusted member of our dental family.
Lisa joins our team as a seasoned Registered Dental Hygienist with over a decade of experience in the dental field. Her warm personality and gentle touch instantly put patients at ease, and she’s passionate about creating a positive, personalized experience for everyone in her chair. With a background in sales, Lisa brings exceptional communication skills and an intuitive understanding of patient care, helping her build meaningful connections and long-term trust. Outside the office, Lisa shines in her most cherished role—being a proud mom to three amazing girls. She brings a blend of professionalism, heart, and confidence to our team that helps elevate the patient experience and strengthen the care we provide.
Allison has been a dental assistant for just over four years, and in that time, she’s quickly become one of the most beloved members of our team. With a genuine passion for dentistry and a deep appreciation for the artistry behind it, Allison approaches each day with precision, creativity, and care. She has a gift for making patients feel instantly at ease, and her calm, compassionate presence is something they remember long after their visit. Beyond her talent with patient care, Allison is a behind-the-scenes powerhouse—efficient, meticulous, and always one step ahead. Whether she’s perfecting the details of a procedure or lending a hand wherever needed, she keeps our clinical flow running effortlessly. Outside the office, Allison channels her creative energy into pottery and crocheting, enjoys staying active, and treasures time spent with family and friends. We feel incredibly lucky to have her on our smile squad—and our patients would agree.
