Let us introduce you to our staff of highly skilled, caring professionals. Our commitment is to provide you with a comfortable and relaxing visit each and every time you come to see us.
Katie has been with the practice since 1998 and has sincere enthusiasm for quality dentistry. Katie has eagerly attended multiple continuing education courses, including the Advance Anterior Aesthetics Continuum, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and American Association of Dental Office Managers. As the practice administrator, Katie understands that patient care and satisfaction play a crucial part in the vitality of our practice. She is always there to greet you with a warm smile and a calm demeanor to make you feel at ease when you arrive for your dental appointment. Katie has a passion for gluten free baking and a slight obsession with raising chickens that lay different colored eggs. She has 2 daughters in college and has been married to her husband, Sims since 1998.
Debbie is the veteran employee of the office, having been Dr. Johnson's hygienist now for over 30 years. Debbie is the sweetest person you will ever meet, and this is evident in the caring and gentle way she treats everyone she sees. Debbie spends much of her time researching the latest hygiene products that will help you as an individual achieve the home care program best for you. She received her RDH license from Foothill College in Los Altos. Debbie is also licensed to administer anesthetic as well as being certified in category II laser treatment. When Debbie is not at work, she keeps very busy. Spending her time working out, cooking, grooming their walnut orchard and being a Grammy to her two grandbabies.
Tianna, or Ty, is part of our fabulous assistant team, and has been working with Dr. Johnson since 2008. She is a local girl, having grown up right around the corner in Corning. Ty completed her education through Butte County Regional Occupational Program and has been assisting ever since. Ty loves to help our patients receive their dental treatment in an efficient, professional, and caring manner. When Ty is not sitting chairside with Dr. Johnson, she is occupying her time enjoying the outdoors, on the soccer field with her two girls and her husband.
Jen joined the team in 2016. She graduated from Shasta College Dental Hygiene program in 2008. Prior to becoming a hygienist, Jen worked as an assistant and been in the dental field for over 20 years. She also holds a B.S. degree in biological science from CSU, Chico. Jen truly cares for every patient and and seeks to provide the best treatment possible for a healthy mouth and beautiful smile. When not in the office, Jen loves spending time her husband and little girl. She enjoys the outdoors, nature and being on the golf course whenever she can!
Shelly has been involved in dentistry for more than 30 years. Shelly joined our team in 2017 as our insurance guru. At the front desk, she enjoys talking with our patients and learning about what is going on in their lives. Shelly was born and raised in Napa, CA prior to moving to the area with her husband Bill. When she’s not at the office Shelly enjoys volunteering at her church, working alongside her husband in their large garden, researching family genealogy, and calligraphy. Shelly is an active member of the Daughters of The American Revolution, both on the local and State level.
Beth joined Dr. Johnson’s team in 2017. A graduate of the Shasta College Dental Hygiene program in Redding, California, Beth has a genuine desire to know her patients and understand their needs and priorities in regards to oral health. Her welcoming smile and personality help patients to feel comfortable and at ease with their treatment. A Chico native, Beth feels blessed to have had the opportunity to grow up in such a wonderful community. Beth met her husband while they were attending Chico State and they have been married for almost 15 years. They have been blessed with two boys, Josh and Jake. Beth loves spending time outdoors with her family exploring Bidwell Park, taking hikes, and enjoying bike rides together.
Jill is the second half of our fabulous assistant team and has been with Dr. Johnson since early 2019. Jill is a native of this area, having grown up in Orland, her roots run deep. Jill received her RDA license in 2002 from Butte County Regional Occupational Program. She has a tremendous amount of dental knowledge and is dedicated to helping patients on their journey to find their perfect smile. Jill loves to spend her free time riding dirt bikes, and watching her son wrestle and daughter play soccer.
Danielle is a part of our dynamic hygiene team. She has been spreading her laughter throughout our office since 2014. When you meet Danielle, you will instantly feel her love, her enthusiasm and you will become a part of her extended family. Danielle was born and raised in Indiana and received her hygiene degree in 1999 from Indiana University. Danielle and her husband left Indiana in 2000 to raise their 3 kids in sunny California. If Danielle isn’t cleaning teeth, she has her toes in the sand watching her youngest daughter playing beach volleyball, on the sideline of her son’s football game or cheering on her oldest daughter playing volleyball at the collegiate level.
