Our team includes five experienced professionals, led by Dr. Walker. We each share Dr. Walkers' belief that our care should be comprehensive and courteous - responding fully to your individual needs and concerns.

Our technical team:

Tanya has been taking care of our patients' needs for the past 7 years. Tanya is a very caring individual who always is ready for you with a smile on her face. Tanya’s knowledge of dentistry is extensive, and she is always eager to educate our patients in the treatment they need. In addition to dental assisting, Tanya is a licensed cosmetologist. Tanya received her RDA from San Joaquin Valley College in 1996. For fun Tanya enjoys attending movies, classes at the local gym and playing bunko with her multitude of friends, as well as spending quality time with her husband Brian and their son Kyle.

Katie has been with the practice for 5 years now, and has a sincere enthusiasm for quality dentistry. Katie has eagerly attended multiple continuing education courses, including the Advance Anterior Aesthetics Continuum in San Francisco, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Katie has quickly mastered the knowledge necessary to help you achieve the smile that you have always wanted. Katie received her RDA license through the Butte County ROP program in 1996. Katie spends much of her spare time chasing down her very active 3 year old daughter Kylee as well as her husband Sims. They are celebrating their newest arrival, baby girl Karlee, born in June of last year.

Debbie is the veteran employee of the office, having been Dr. Walkers' hygienist now for 27 years. Debbie is the sweetest person you will ever meet, and this is evident in the caring and gentle way she treats everyone she sees. Debbie spends much of her time researching the latest hygiene products that will help you as an individual achieve the home care program best for you. She received her RDH license in 1976 from Foothill College in Los Altos. Debbie is also licensed to administer anesthetic as well as being certified in category II laser treatment. Debbie spends much of her spare time out of the office being Mom to her 3 teenage children.

Kerri is the newest member of our team and other half of our hygiene department.  Kerri received her Bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene from the Oregon Institute of Technology in the spring of 1996. She has been practicing in the Chico area since then. She is a local girl, having grown up in Red Bluff, only 40 min. away. As part of our office and hygiene department, Kerri is educated in all of the latest technological advancements available today and contributes to a thorough preventive and progressive periodontal treatment strategy(including use of laser therapy). When not at the office, her passion and enjoyment comes from her 2 boys, Troy age 8 and Trevor age 5 1/2(who are very active in different sports). Kerri also enjoys skiing, camping, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends.

Darice has been the smiling face at the front desk for 10 years now. Her 20 years of experience in dentistry help to make the office run smoothly whether you are needing help with an appointment, billing your insurance carrier, or simply needing to better understand treatment that is necessary. Darice’s knowledge of dentistry is extensive, having been a participant in the same continuing education courses targeted for dentists, hygienists and assistants. Her son, Anthony, is in his last year of high school and will soon be on a 2 year mission for their church, while her 21 year old daughter Alysha, is following in her mothers footsteps, working full time in a medical practice. Darice keeps her hands busy with crafts, church activities, and fly fishing with her husband Mike.

Kate joined our team in 2001. She received her RDA license from the Butte County ROP Program in 1996. She has an extensive knowledge in periodontal disease and treatment, having worked in a specialty office for the past 3 years. You will find Kate "everywhere" in the office, from helping Darice at the front desk and on the phone, to assisting Dr. Walker in dental treatment chairside. Her enthusiasm to serve our patients is only surpassed by her sweet, caring personality. Kate loves to lift weights at the local gym, loves skeet shooting and working in the garden. She and her husband Wayne are the proud parents of their first baby, daughter Katee who just turned one year old.
